Garden City, NY The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University has named James Stevens as the recipient of the 2017-18 Moritt Hock & Hamroff Business Law Honors Fellowship. The fellowship is awarded to an incoming law student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievements and an interest in pursuing a career in business law.
Stevens is a first year law student at Hofstra Law and a resident of Bayport. He earned his master of Education degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and a master of arts, Education degree from the University of Rhode Island. Stevens is expected to earn his Juris Doctor from Hofstra Law in May 2020.
