July 14, 2008 - Brokerage
Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) was selected by Rockrose Development Corp. to lease its planned 800,000 s/f 10 Court Sq. development in the Long Island City neighborhood. The building owner will be represented by Peter Riguardi, president of JLL's New York office, along with Frank Doyle, international director, Barbara Winter, senior vice president, and Andrew Flint, leasing associate. The building site is located on Jackson Ave. at Court Sq. The 10 Court Sq. project was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP and will include 800,000 s/f of office space above 20,000 s/f of street-level retail space. Rockrose also plans to construct a 165-space parking garage within the building. The developer expects to break ground on the project in 2009, with completion scheduled for 2011. JLL will market the space as a build-to-suit opportunity. Rockrose will tailor the building to the needs of an anchor tenant and will be LEED-certified.
