Brooklyn, NY TerraCRG has arranged the sale of 2 Macon St., a mixed-use building in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Matt Cosentino, along with Eric Satanovsky and Fred Bijou, of TerraCRG brokered the deal at $8.3 million.
“2 Macon St. is one of the most prominent buildings in Bed-Stuy, located at the intersection of Arlington Place, Macon St. and Fulton St.,” said Cosentino, VP at TerraCRG. “Its location, size and architectural design make it a truly premiere property.”
The property offers the opportunity to have both a grand residential entrance on Macon St. for the residential tenants, and a Fulton St. address for the retail tenants. It has been the backdrop to several movies including Spike Lee’s “Crooklyn.”
The block-through building contains 29,300 s/f and consists of 22 residential units and three retail stores on Fulton St. Of the 22 residential units, 20 are large two-bedrooms that can be converted into three-bedrooms.
Bedford-Stuyvesant’s Macon St. is known for its brownstones and is considered one of the most desirable residential blocks in the area. 2 Macon St. is located one block from the A/C train at Nostrand Ave., providing access to Manhattan in about 15 minutes. It is located close to Planet Fitness, 7-Eleven, GNC, The Children’s Place, Walgreen’s and more.
