Manhattan, NY Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of 302 West 114th St., an apartment building in the West Harlem neighborhood. The final closing price was $7.15 million.
A Cushman & Wakefield brokerage team consisting of senior managing director Hall Oster, associate director Teddy Galligan, senior associate Bryan Smadbeck, and associate Tim O’Brien represented the seller.
“The property’s recent renovations and proximity to Columbia University presented the purchaser with a great entry opportunity to the West Harlem submarket,” said Hall Oster of Cushman & Wakefield. “The buyer secured a well-positioned walk-up with ample future upside, steps from Morningside Park.”
The 8,915 s/f, five-story walk-up features a total of 20 units. Thirteen of the apartments have been renovated into one and two bedroom apartments. The property includes upgraded electric service, individual heating systems in the renovated apartments and ample basement space. Each of the renovated apartments also feature stainless steel appliances, wall mounted flat screen televisions, in-unit washer/dryers and updated kitchens and bathrooms.
Located on the south side of West 114th St. between Frederick Douglass Blvd. and Manhattan Ave., the property is walking distance from Central Park and Morningside Park.
