Tarsio and Spitz join Clark Patterson team

Albany, NY Clark Patterson Lee, a full-service design firm that has served public and private-sector clients for 40 years, has welcomed two hires to its team: Lauren Tarsio, AIA, as architect and Carrie Ann Spitz as architectural designer.

In her new position, Tarsio is responsible for providing corrective action for the architectural needs on various projects. She brings to the team more than 10 years of experience in the architecture industry and has expertise in K-12 education design. Most recently, Tarsio served as associate at Mosaic Associates Architects.

Tarsio earned her bachelor of science in Historic Preservation from Roger Williams University. In addition, she holds her architecture license from NYS.

As architectural designer, Spitz will work with K-12 education projects through the various stages, including planning, schematic design, development, and construction documentation and administration. She joins the team from Mosaic Associates Architects, where she served as architectural designer for three years.

Spitz earned her bachelor of Architecture and master of science in Ecological Economics, Values and Policy from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Outside of the office, she is the secretary and treasurer of Associate for Learning Environments.
