Honored Pasquale CoreNet Global holds 21st annual Charitable Golf outing July 17th; Benefitted Make-A-Wish Metro New York
Lake Success, NY The Long Island chapter of CoreNet Global held its 21st annual Charitable Golf outing on July 17th at Fresh Meadow Country Club. Proceeds from the event, which attracted 100 golfers, will help Make-A-Wish Metro New York grant wishes to area children in need. The chapter has granted more than 114 wishes over the past 20 years through Make-A-Wish Metro New York.
Julie Khlevner, M.D., Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital/New York Presbyterian, and assistant professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center, spoke at the evening reception. Dr. Khlevner outlined the scientific proof that wish-granting promotes healing and has lifelong benefits for children with serious illnesses. Make-A-Wish has granted more than 11,000 wishes to children in need since 1983.
CoreNet Global Long Island also honored Kathy Pasquale, vice president of business development & marketing at JRS Architect, P.C., for her six years of service as chapter president.
