Brentwood, NY Christopher Nicholson, president of Genesis Real Estate Advisors, has brokered three leases totaling 29,300 s/f. The deals include the following:
• A 22,500 s/f lease at 700 Suffolk Ave. to Golden Mango, a boutique grocery store with locations throughout the burrows. The aggregate rent value is $7 million over the 25-year term. With assistance from the landlord and willingness of the tenant to contribute to necessary repairs to the former thrift store, the deal worked out for everyone. Genesis represented landlord and tenant.
• A 3,400 s/f lease at 885 Montauk Hwy., Islip to Wendy’s Intl. Nicholson, represents Wendy’s for Suffolk County. Though it took some time, the approvals came after 24-30 months. Greg Mogil of Mogil Realty Group, represented the landlord. A grand opening was held in April.
• A 3,400 s/f lease at 5th Ave. (Wicks Rd.) in Brentwood. Wendy’s established a pad site with landlords Basser Kaufman. The restaurant opened in March and is a great addition to the center. “It’s a pocket where some of the countries national food users do exceptionally well,” said Nicholson.
