For over 20 years, Bud Knapp, AIA, principal with SWBR Architects has completed work for the Dorschel Automotive Group and most recently, SWBR completed its work on the new Dorschel Collision Center located on Telco Rd. The new 6,000 s/f, $500,000 project, completed earlier this year, features a contemporary look that is consistent with the other Dorschel facilities and is one of Monroe County's largest collision shops. The Dorschel Collision Center features a remodeled employee and customer service space, new waiting areas with amenities such as a TV and refreshments for guests, as well as desk space for insurance representatives.  The addition also houses Dorschel's state-of-the-art indoor car evaluating areas, including tile floors and lay in acoustical ceilings. Furthermore, SWBR designed new locker rooms and a training area for Dorschel to keep their highly trained employees up to date on the latest in technology.  SWBR served as the lead architect and worked alongside Turner Engineering who completed the electrical, plumbing, ventilating and air conditioning for the new facility.
