Manhattan, NY According to SCG Retail, a division of The Shopping Center Group, Honeybrains has opened at 372 Lafayette, between Great Jones and Bond St. The 1,250 s/f on ground space also comes with a basement for storage.
Jacqueline Klinger, the lead broker from SCG Retail that represented the tenant, said, “Honeybrains is a café and retail store with a focus on brain health. For decades we have heard about the heart and products and activities that are heart healthy. Honeybrains is trying to do the same thing for the brain.”
Alon Seitan, one of the owners and creators of the concept, is a neurologist and has focused much of his career on memory disorders. Dr. Seifan started one of the nation’s first Alzheimer’s Prevention clinics while an assistant professor of neurology at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Honeybrains is the world’s first food and technology café dedicated to enhancing and protecting customers’ minds. The people behind the concept are a fusion of restaurateurs and medical scientists. Honeybrains offers natural foods, supplements, plant-based juices, raw honey and lifestyle technologies to improve brain function and performance.
372 Lafayette was a great location for Honeybrain’s first café because it’s in NoHo between SoHo and Astor Place, convenient to a great mix of affluent residents, students and those TAMI office tenants (tech, ad, media and info) who are generally early adopters.
Honeybrains was also represented by Taryn Brandes of SCG Retail. The landlord was represented by Chris Owles of Sinvin Retail.
