New York, NY Peter Braus and Richard Kave of Lee & Associates NYC LLC (Lee NYC) have arranged a 15-year lease for Café Arte at 40 Broad St., between Beaver St. and Exchange Place. The 4,350 s/f, street-level space is located one block from the New York Stock Exchange and in the same building as upscale kosher steakhouse Reserve Cut. Other neighboring businesses include Hermès, Sarar, Bobby Van’s Steakhouse, Starbucks, Cosi, Pret a Manger, and Au Bon Pain.
“The Financial District is an increasingly hot spot for residents, tourists, and employees alike,” said Braus, who represented the owner, 40 Broad Associates No. 2 LLC, with Kave. “This generated a need for more local restaurants and services to keep up with the growing demand.”
Kave said, “As the long breakfast and lunch lines at its other three Financial District locations can attest, Café Arte is a neighborhood institution and sure to be a success at this busy Broad St. location steps from the New York Stock Exchange.”
Elliott Rackman and Ray Abramcyk of Abramcyk Realty represented the tenant, which plans to open in late fall.
The New York office of Lee & Associates, and its affiliated company Sierra Real Estate LLC, provides a full array of corporate advisory and commercial real estate services, including office and retail brokerage, sales and investments, and project and property management.
