The Queens Chamber of Commerce grew our Membership base by 30% to 1,100 members, representing 90,000 Queens-based employees.
What project, transaction, market trend or product had the greatest impact on your industry this year?
Unquestionably, real estate in all forms. From retail, industrial, commercial, residential & mixed-use and from Long Island City to Jamaica; Astoria, Maspeth, Far Rockaway; development is a driving force in Queens.
How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2017?
New website, e-commerce platform, client engagement tools as well as staff development are all areas that enhabce productivity and future growth.
What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2017?
Federal, State and NYC coordination along with Port Authority support for transportation projects including but not limited to: BQX, LaGuardia and JFK growth, increased CitBike growth, Ferry development, review and study of LIRR Montauk Line.
