What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?
Was a busy year for me and for Broadway Realty. We did number of sales transactions, mostly in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We represented buyers and sellers in commercial buildings, mixed use and retail condos as well as development deals. Deal sizes are between $2,5 Million and $18,5 Million deals.
What project, transaction, market trend or product had the greatest impact on your industry this year?
Like kind exchanges and its advantages are shaping our industry. We have a number of clients in search of $5 Million to $50 Million deals.
How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2017?
We have a new website for Broadway Realty, it will be launched in December 2016. www.BroadwayRealty.com will have our deals and news as well as a company information, property pictures etc. etc
What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2017?
In the last couple of years, many development sites traded hands, but condos was the only game in town. Commercial developers are still in an anticipatory mood. Banks deleveraging will take place in 2017 and we will see lower LTVs for both acquisition and construction. Positive note in all that is a return of 421A Tax abatement.
