What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?

Central to the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s mission is the creation of good, middle-class jobs. In 2016 we made significant progress towards this goal with over 388,000 s/f of leases signed, which will create approximately 2,000 new good paying, quality jobs.

With the Yard in the midst of its largest expansion in nearly 50 years, we’re set to more than double the number of employees working at the Yard, to 16,000, by 2020. Creating jobs that provide viable career options and a pathway to the middle-class will continue to be the Yard’s primary mission and most notable achievement.
