How did you get your start in real estate industry?

First job was as an architect for HNTB in Kansas City, MO

CoreNet Global New York City Chapter; The American Institute of Architects (AIA); U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)

What recent project or transaction are you most proud of?

We’ve been able to leverage our global relationships with our long time technology clients and are currently in process of completing several large projects here in the North America – locally in the New York City area as well as in San Francisco, where our US offices reside, as well as in Raleigh, Atlanta, Washington DC and even Toronto! It’s been exciting adventure for our US-based team.

Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why?

John Sellery, group managing director based in Hong Kong. He has been such a mentor to me while working in APAC and beyond, by always being available to listen and advise…providing guidance that allows me to take ownership and empower me to reach my end goals – internally and externally. He enables a perspective that I don’t always see myself to get me onto the next steps.

What is the best advice you have received and who was it from?

My mother.  She always told me that you have two choices every morning. I could go to work and have a positive influence on the world or I could stay at home.  She says to always be proud of what I do and that every job is worthy of pride.
