Concrete Alliance launches "Why Union?" campaign in N.Y.C.

The Concrete Alliance Inc. and its construction union members have unveiled an extension of their campaign to recruit qualified non-union workers. Starting June 2, 280 transit buses will be rolling through city streets, carrying 12 ft. long"Why Union?" banners. "Unions are all about family values," said Al Gerosa, president of the Concrete Alliance. "Membership brings superior health benefits for union workers and their families and we want qualified non-union workers to be aware of what they can gain by joining."
