Buffalo, NY Ellicott Development has completed their mixed-use project at 960 Busti Ave. The Niagara Street corridor, home to 960 Busti, is currently undergoing a long awaited transformation. From rendering to reality, 960 Busti’s completion has supplemented the area’s alteration significantly.
Although it is new to Ellicott Development’s portfolio, 960 Busti Ave. was an existing building originally constructed in 1922. Standing at four stories tall, the building consists of 56,000 s/f divided into commercial, retail, and residential space. 960 Busti has undergone extensive improvements that have preserved its historic original architecture while adding modern enhancements for energy efficiency, convenience and safety.
The first two floors of 960 Busti include 27,500 s/f of commercial and retail space, while floors three and four include 23,000 s/f of residential space. The residential space consists of 18 market-rate apartment units in one, two, and three bedroom configurations.
Ellicott Development worked with the State Historic Preservation Office to complete renovations to restore the building. Most notably, the existing windows have been replaced, new window openings have been cut in, the original wood windows have been restored, and previously in-filled window openings have been re-opened.
Located at the conversion of Busti and Niagara Sts., this newly renovated building provides views of the Niagara River and the Peace Bridge. On-site and under-building free parking make 960 Busti a premier business address.
