Colonie, NY Work has begun on The Residences at the Crossings, a new apartment community developed by Crisafulli Associates, LLC. The community is located on the Crossings Park at 32 and 40 Aviation Rd. The Residences at the Crossings will consist of 152 rental apartment units built in two buildings on Aviation Rd. directly on The Crossings Park. The 220,000 s/f project will be a mix of one and two bedroom apartment units and will feature high end finishes, common spaces such as community rooms, fitness centers, lounges, outdoor recreational areas, community gardens and covered garage parking. Residents will be able to walk out of the building and walk right into the Crossings Park or the Rudy A. Ciccotti Recreational Center. In addition residents will have all of the amenities of Wolf Rd. within walking distance including Colonie Center Mall, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Hannaford Supermarket and dozens of other retailers and businesses. Phase I, a 46-unit building, is scheduled for occupancy in Spring 2016.
