Nicholas Tsang, High Line West

New York, NY According to Breaking Ground, one of the city’s largest supportive housing developer and manager, Nicholas Tsang has joined its board of directors. Tsang is the owner and principal of High Line West, LLC, a real estate investment company that develops and operates multifamily housing and farmland in NY and NJ, and the owner of Manhattan Saddlery, the historic retailer of equestrian goods located in NYC’s Gramercy Park area.  “Nick is an excellent addition to Breaking Ground’s board,” said Brenda Rosen, president and CEO of Breaking Ground. “He represents the next generation of socially-minded entrepreneurs.”

Tsang has a long history of commitment to serving the homeless. As the Administrative Director of the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter from 2006-2007, he managed the full budget and operations of a 24-bed student-run homeless shelter. He also currently volunteers weekly with South Bronx United, a youth coaching and tutoring organization in New York City. Tsang holds an AB from Harvard College.
