Parker promoted to division manager of Marcus & Millichap’s northeast division

New York, NY Marcus & Millichap has promoted J.D. Parker to division manager of the firm’s northeast division, which includes Manhattan, Boston, Brooklyn, New Haven, New Jersey and Westchester, and the firm’s Ottawa and Toronto offices in Canada. Previously Parker served as district manager over Marcus & Millichap’s New York Tri-State area where he provided oversight for five offices and over 250 investment sales and finance professionals and staff. Parker also serves in the capacity of a senior vice president.

“As district manager, J.D. did a wonderful job growing our Manhattan office to become Marcus & Millichap’s top office by sales volume and number of professionals,” said Mitch LaBar, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “He has also played significant roles in leading a number of company initiatives, including his contributions as a member on the firm’s technology steering committee. J.D.’s vision and enthusiasm for achieving further growth in New York City and throughout the Northeast is incredibly motivating.”

Parker is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
