Santora named CEO for the Americas at C&W

According to Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), John Santora has been named CEO for the Americas, one of the company's largest operating regions spanning 137 owned and alliance offices throughout North and South America. He will replace Tony Maranon who will remain on staff as a consultant following the transition, which will begin immediately. Santora, a 30-year veteran of C&W, was previously global COO, helping to drive the firm's global business strategy and integration of its regional operations in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. During his three years in the position, he oversaw major acquisitions in Mexico and South America as well as Australia. In his new role, Santora will lead the firm's business in the Americas, a region with revenues surpassing $1 billion in 2007. He will be responsible for the firm's business growth and development in the region, overseeing branch and regional managers in the U.S., as well as operations in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. He will continue to report directly to Bruce Mosler, the firm's president and CEO. Cushman & Wakefield is one of the world's largest privately held commercial real estate services firms.
