Manhattan, NY Cushman & Wakefield is marketing retail space at 57 Leonard St, situated in TriBeCa. The venue stands directly opposite 56 Leonard, the 60-story condo tower scheduled for a January opening.  Nicknamed “the Jenga tower” for its cantilevered glass façade, 56 Leonard will be the bustling neighborhood’s tallest building. Featuring large front and rear windows, the retail offering includes 2,300 s/f on the ground floor with high, 16-foot ceilings, along with 2,700 s/f on the lower level with 12-ft. ceilings. “With their fine shops, restaurants, museums and galleries, the streets of Tribeca attract foot traffic from throughout the city and around the world,” said Wendy Qiu, retail leasing associate at Cushman & Wakefield.  “57 Leonard holds rich promise for retailers, enhanced by its immediate proximity to its 56 Leonard neighbor.” Among a range of options, Qiu said that location is highly suitable for retailers offering fashions or furniture, and could also serve as gallery or showroom space. The property includes a private passenger elevator and sidewalk elevator, as well as a large internal staircase.
