Farmingdale, NY Alcott HR, a leading provider of human resources outsourcing solutions, has appointed David Gaffney as director of sales. Gaffney brings a background and proven track record in business development and sales management spanning over 15 years. His skill set is broad, encompassing negotiations, solution selling, team building, training and development, organizational leadership and key client retention.
Prior to joining Alcott HR, Gaffney had a career with Automatic Data Processing (ADP). Most recently, he served as corporate sales manager-workforce management national/global accounts. While in this role, he maintained and strengthened client relationships. He earned this latest position after serving in the capacity of major account sales executive/vice president of sales; a position in which he effectively managed three sales teams and was responsible for providing the direction and leadership necessary for attaining regional objectives. He began his career in small business sales in 1997, and was promoted to his second position with the company in 2000 as its major account district manager.
Gaffney is the recipient of several awards and honors in recognition of his sales prowess. These include: 11 President’s Club Awards, Trend Setters 2006 and Fast Starts 2008 honors.
