Pennetta of Cushman & Wakefield to keynote Green Scene event for USGBC-LI on November 9th

Westbury, NY United States Green Building Council- Long Island chapter (USGBC-LI) will hold its Green Scene event on November 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Viana Hotel & Spa, 3998 Brush Hollow Rd. The event will feature keynote speaker David Pennetta, SIOR, LEED GA, executive director of Cushman & Wakefield. He is an expert on real estate and economic development on Long Island and has appeared on TV Channel 21, NPR Radio, and frequently contributed to the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, The Real Deal, LIBN, Newsday and has spoken for many Long Island groups including Hofstra University, SUNY Stony Brook, Suffolk County Government among many others. He is the strategic officer for the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society, holds a seat on the Huntington Planning Board and has been a driving force for LEED ND and BD+C efforts including the 18 million s/f Melville Employment Center,10 million s/f Long Island Tech Park and the universal application and building code for Wind Power on LI.
