Mineola, NY Richard Suzor, Jr. has joined Schroder & Strom, LLP. He focuses his practice in NYC real estate tax appeals and litigation. Suzor handles an array of commercial and residential property tax grievance matters. He received a bachelor of arts from Bowdoin College and holds a juris doctorate from Western New England University. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
Prior to joining the firm, he practiced at a boutique commercial real estate advisory firm in Manhattan. He has spent time in private practice at the offices of regional, Mid-Atlantic law firms, representing various banks, mortgage lenders, mortgage servicers and financial institutions. His professional experience also includes staff-level work for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship in Washington, D.C., as well as judicial internships at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Immigration Court in Hartford, Connecticut.
Suzor is a member of the New York City Bar Association (NYCBA). He volunteers with the City Bar Justice Center’s Elder Law and Cancer Advocacy Projects. He is also an approved fiduciary with the State of New York Unified Court System.
