Uniondale, NY According to Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP, Mary Mongioi and Andrea Tsoukalas have been selected as a recipient of the first Annual Judge Gail Prudenti Top Women in Law Award, presented by Hofstra University School of Law, Center for Children, Families, and the Law. Additionally, associate Dana Lee has joined the executive board and is part of the Steering Committee of the Korean American Youth Foundation.
Mongioi handles the litigation of estate matters as well as civil litigation, appellate practice, real estate and corporate matters. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, where she is vice chair of the real property committee and also a member of the community relations committee.
Tsoukalas concentrates her practice in zoning, land use, environmental and municipal law matters. Tsoukalas represents a wide variety of clients including national corporate chains, local developers and small business owners in the development of commercial and residential properties. Tsoukalas is general counsel to the Long Island Gasoline Retailers Association, a nationally recognized non-profit trade association with over 600 members. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, and Nassau County Women’s Bar Association. In addition, she is member of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation board.
Lee is an associate concentrating her practice in commercial real estate transactions, real estate lending, condominiums and cooperatives, and corporate law. While earning her degree, Lee was a law clerk at the firm and also at the legal department of an international lifestyle fashion brand, New Era Cap Co. Additionally, she was involved in Consumer Advocacy Clinic with Western New York Law Center CLARO Program, where she assisted unrepresented litigants in various consumer debt issues.
Prior to attending law school, Lee was a legal assistant at the legal department of a Korean-American supermarket chain, H-Mart.
Lee is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Asian American Bar Association of New York, and Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York. In addition, she is fluent in Korean.
