North Hempstead, NY Chris Coschignano and John Farrell, partners with Sahn Ward Coschignano, PLLC, have represented The Salvation Army before the town in obtaining the necessary variances and site plan approvals to allow the organization to redevelop its property on Prospect Ave. in New Cassel.
The new multi-million dollar, 20,000 s/f facility will replace the Salvation Army’s existing building on the site, which was formerly used as a bar and restaurant and had become increasingly rundown over the years. The new facility became necessary following the growth of its ministry and its after-school programs.
Farrell, who handled the firm’s presentation before the North Hempstead board of zoning appeals, said, “We are pleased to have assisted The Salvation Army in helping to move this project forward. This expanded facility will provide significant benefits to New Cassel and the surrounding communities.”
