Huntington, NY CREW NY has expanded its focus to L.I. with a Discover CREW New York event in mid-May at the Huntington Hilton attended by over 50 L.I. commercial real estate professionals. “There is a real need, witnessed by the enthusiasm of the attendees, for this kind of organization and its contribution to L.I.,” said CREW NY president, Theresa Garelli, New York Land Services, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Co.

The array of benefits enjoyed by CREW New York members include networking, leadership development, education, mentorship, business and career growth opportunities.

According to Garelli, as New York City becomes more dense and expensive, companies are expanding to Long Island and Westchester, another focus of the organization.

“One of our goals for extending our network of professionals is to create referral business locally through CREW New York and through CREW Network nationally and internationally,” said Garelli.

The first initiative will extend CREW Connections events to Long Island. These are informal meetings at coffees, cocktails or dinners.
