Huntington, NY On April 30th, over 275 members and guests of the Long Island Builders Institute gathered together at the Huntington Crescent Club to participate in the 75th Anniversary of the Long Island Builders Institute, one of the largest residential home building trade associations in the State of New York and one of the largest in the country.
Joining over 20 past-presidents and associate vice presidents at the event were a number of guests from the home building industry including the chairman of the board of the National Association of Home Builders, Ed Perry and the president of the New York State Builders Association, Bill Tyne. In addition, numerous political officials joined the crowd during the cocktail hour including Suffolk County executive Steve Bellone, Suffolk County legislature presiding officer Duwayne Gregory, Babylon town supervisor Richard Schaffer and New York State assemblyman Todd Kaminsky. In addition, over 50 other political officials provided numerous proclamations and resolutions honoring LIBI’s 75th anniversary as well as chairmen Mike Kelly and Alec Ornstein and 2015 Associate of the Year Paul Musso. The event was chaired by Charlie Mancini of the Park Ridge Organization and Ira Adler of Certilman, Balin, Adler and Hyman.
The Long Island Builders Institute works to provide opportunities to develop new housing options on Long Island for our residents, ranging from single family homes to townhouses, condominiums, multifamily rentals as well as senior citizen and assisted living developments.
