Lund promoted to senior engineer at P.W. Grosser Consulting

New York, NY According to P.W. Grosser Consulting, Inc. (PWGC), Jenny Lund has been promoted to the position of senior engineer following her passage of the Professional Engineer (PE) exam. Lund was an intern at PWGC before earning a BS in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2010, following which she joined the firm full time. She is in the midst of earning an MS in Civil Engineering from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering in Brooklyn. During her tenure at PWGC,  Lund has excelled at a variety of engineering tasks earning valuable hands-on experience related to structural resiliency, storm water management, health and safety compliance, and site planning and design. Earning her professional license will allow Lund to continue to expand her engineering horizon. “By passing the PE exam Jenny has demonstrated her competence in the fundamentals of engineering, especially in the civil realm,” said PWGC president and founder Paul W. Grosser, Ph.D. and PE. “We look forward to her continued growth as an engineer here at PWGC!” For her part, Lund is excited with the opportunities that passing the PE exam presents. “Passing that test is a key milestone in any engineering career,” she said. “I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead and to playing a greater role in the growth of PWGC.” At PWGC, Lund is involved with preliminary site planning, zoning research, property condition reports, vulnerability analysis, and permit applications. On a daily basis, she plays an integral role in the preparation of design documents, site plans, technical specs, calculations, reports, and permits. She routinely performs construction inspection and observation services to ensure compliance with plans and specs, and is responsible for the preparation of project documentation, such as change orders, and daily reports, and as-built drawings.
