Levitan and Reichenbacher of Lee NYC ink 3,550 s/f in Brooklyn for Livestyle Designs

Brooklyn, NY Peter Levitan and Brendan Reichenbacher of Lee & Associates NYC LLC (Lee NYC) have arranged a lease for Livestyle Designs at 146 Wythe Ave. in Williamsburg, on the corner of North 8^th St. The centrally located space contains 2,350 s/f at ground level and a 1,200 s/f basement.

“Livestyle Designs will be a great addition to the Wythe Avenue corridor,” said Levitan, who represented the tenant and the owner, Flatiron Williamsburg Property Group LLC, with Reichenbacher. “The tenant has two outposts in Venice and Santa Monica, and was pleased to find a similar vibe in Williamsburg.” The store will join the ranks of BK Bowl, J Crew, Brooklyn Brewery, the Wythe Hotel, Café Mogador, and Van Leeuwen.

The tenant took immediate possession and is expected to open in fall 2017. Asking rent was $165 per s/f.

Livestyle Designs is operated by design power couple Francesca and Ahmad DeShae. Francesca is an interior designer, Ahmad creates custom furniture, and they have combined their talents to create an eclectic boutique and design studio that has taken the Los Angeles area by storm.

“The site’s a stone’s throw from both the waterfront’s residential high-rises and significant commercial development,” said Levitan. Within a two block radius there are four commercial developments totaling roughly one million s/f including the William Vale Hotel, 25 Kent, 87 Wythe, and The Williamsburg Hotel. “The new commercial density will add considerable daytime traffic and new retail attractions to an already popular destination.”

According to Reichenbacher, “While people all over Williamsburg will be drawn to the Livestyle Designs aesthetic, new residents, office tenants, and developers will especially appreciate having a design studio and shop in such close proximity.”
