A Winter’s Evening Dinner Dance on Dec. 10, 2016, at the Grand Hyatt New York raised $2.2 million to further the mission of National Jewish Health.
Gary Jacob, executive vice president of Glenwood Management, received the National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award for his contributions to the real estate industry, his commitment to community service and his fundraising efforts on behalf of National Jewish Health and several other charitable organizations. The dinner also established The Cathy and Gary Jacob Fund for the research and care of patients with autoimmune diseases. Last year’s honoree, Matthew Lustig of Lazard, was inducted into the National Jewish Health Council of National Trustees.
Dennis Herman, Robert Ivanhoe and Stephen Siegel served as dinner chairs. The additional leadership for the dinner comprises a Who’s Who of the New York commercial real estate industry. It also represents decades of steadfast support for National Jewish Health. The dinner has raised $45.5 million since 1994.
