Manhattan, NY Hunton & Williams LLP toasted many of New York real estate’s best and brightest at an invitation-only event on September 28. More than 300 clients and friends of its real estate practice group attended the firm’s fifth annual client appreciation celebration.

The blustery fall weather couldn’t deter the lively crowd, who gathered at the downtown Dream Hotel’s PH-D Rooftop Lounge to eat, drink and mingle as night fell on breathtaking views of the city, the Hudson River and the High Line urban park.

Commenting on the New York market, practice group co-head Carl Schwartz shared his excitement at working with such interesting clients, who include “next generation” players in flourishing family companies, developers who began with little more than a vision and now run a thriving enterprise, and savvy entrepreneurs who are able to balance building up an established business with taking it in a new direction.

Over the past five years, the real estate practice at Hunton & Williams has seen explosive growth, with a number of strategic new hires expanding the team to 31 in New York and more than 75 firmwide.
