80 members attended CIREB's May marketing session/member update meeting held at 25 South Allen St. The May marketing session was sponsored by Pyramid Brokerage of Albany, a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance Member. Pyramid is one of upstate New York's largest commercial real estate firms with 11 offices located from Poughkeepsie to Buffalo. The session was held at Pyramid's newest listing at 25 South Allen St., the current home of the Elk's Club. This stand alone building on 1.13 acres, boasts 24,000 s/f offering such amenities as a large ballroom as well as multiple private meeting rooms for smaller gatherings, a commercial kitchen, bar and lounge, and a six lane bowling alley in the basement. The program, sponsored by VESID a division of the NYS Department of Education is for high school seniors or recent graduates who receive vocational training in the food service industry. These students range in age from 17-21, are part of the program providing training, internship and job placement. CIREB was pleased to be able to give these talented students an opportunity to show off their skills to its members.
