White Plains, NY CBRE Group’s Westchester/Fairfield County office has been named leasing agent for 140 and 150 Grand St. The team of Michael McCall, Kevin McCarthy and Morgan Collins are handling the assignment. 140 and 150 Grand St. are two adjacent office buildings totaling 217,416 s/f located in the downtown area. The buildings are situated within one block of Federal, State, County and City courthouses, making them ideally suited to both government and law firm tenants. “140 and 150 Grand St. offer tenants not only proximity to transportation and all that the White Plains’ business district has to offer, but also a host of on-site amenities,” said McCall. “We’re excited about this assignment and look forward to further enhancing the buildings’ already impressive roster of tenants." Amenities at 140 and 150 Grand St. include a full service café, a new 1,700 s/f fitness center, and garage parking all on site. Additionally, there are three regional malls nearby and numerous restaurants, 2,200 apartment units, and the White Plains train station only blocks away. “When we evaluated these buildings for purchase, we had great confidence in not only the assets, but also in White Plain’s future. The improvements that we have planned will only serve to elevate 140 and 150 Grand St. and make them even more appealing,” said Chad Goodman from Westport Capital Partners LLC. In conjunction with the CBRE leasing team, ownership has retained Papp Architects to spearhead the planned building improvements. Papp Architects will be assisting with the redesign of the building’s curb appeal, outdoor plaza, lobby of 140 Grand Street, elevator cabs, common corridors and building mechanical systems. Additionally, Cushman & Wakefield has been hired to oversee the property management of the buildings.
