Berger of Norman Bobrow leases 4,698 s/f to Equinix

New York, NY Equinix, a publicly traded corporation that provides high tech data centers, (formerly Nimbo Technologies), has signed a 4,698 s/f three-year lease in midtown occupying the entire sixth floor of 102 West 38th St. The Redwood City, California-based Equinix has sub-leased the space for their New York City office for the last three years from 50CAN, a nonprofit education advocacy group with offices in both New York and Washington D.C. “Equinix liked the space and since the sub-lease was set to expire in March 2016,  we structured a direct deal for them,” said Joshua Berger, managing director at Norman Bobrow & Company, who represented Equinix, which purchased Nimbo Technologies last year. According to Berger, the asking rent is $46 per square foot. Jeff Buslik from Adams & Company represented the landlord, 38th & 6 Associates.
