Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates has arranged a 4,600 s/f lease for Underground Communications, Inc., a cell phone accessory company, at 16-32 Madison St. in the Ridgewood neighborhood, according to Neil Dolgin, executive vice president of Kalmon Dolgin.
Jacques Wadler of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates represented Underground Communications in the five-year lease, while Joel Kohn and Berel Nagel of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates represented the building owner. The new tenant of this one-story, 9,200 s/f property is expanding and needed additional warehouse and office space.
Located within walking distance of the Myrtle Ave.-Wyckoff Ave. station of the L and M subway lines, the property is also conveniently located near the Interborough and Jackie Robinson Pkwys., as well as Woodhaven Blvd., a major north-south commercial thoroughfare.
"Just minutes from Manhattan and Brooklyn via surface roads or subway, the property at 16-32 Madison St. was a perfect fit for Underground Communications' expansion plans," said Wadler of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates. "As more and more industrial tenants get squeezed out of nearby Williamsburg due to re-zoning and residential conversions, areas such as Ridgewood are increasingly sought after by expanding companies looking for affordable warehouse space."
