New York, NY Hunton & Williams LLP toasted many of New York real estate’s best and brightest at an invitation-only event on September 30. Over 300 clients and friends of its real estate practice group attended the firm’s fourth annual client appreciation celebration. This year’s gathering took place in the Meatpacking District under enchanting evening skies, where guests were invited to eat, drink, and mingle as the sun set over breathtaking views of Manhattan, the Hudson River, and the High Line urban park.
Commenting on the New York market, practice group co-head Carl Schwartz shared his excitement at working with such interesting clients, who include “next generation” players in growing family-run companies, developers who began with little more than a vision and now run a thriving enterprise, as well as those who are building up an established business but also know when to take it in a new direction.
The real estate group has seen explosive growth in New York over the past three years with the addition of several strategic new hires, who have expanded the team to 30 in New York and 75 firmwide.
Its lawyers offer a wide range of transactional expertise and have significant experience in handling complex, high-profile deals in various markets across the country.
