Long Island Industrial, which owns and operates a mixed portfolio of commercial properties across Long Island, has completed three new lease transactions totaling 18,370 s/f at Equi-Park industrial park on 13th Ave.
The first was a 12,420 s/f lease signed with National Aluminum, a company that produces aluminum foil containers. Tommy Tsiolis, director of leasing for Long Island Industrial, represented Long Island Industrial, while Patrick Homme of Schacker Realty represented National Aluminum, which was relocating from its location in Bohemia.
"National Aluminum was looking for an ideal space to meet their needs, now and in the future," said Tsiolis. "The configuration of the industrial space at Equi-Park was exactly what the company was looking for."
In addition, Level Solar, a residential solar energy installer, signed a lease for 5,650 s/f at 90 13th Ave., while existing tenant Dovecote Accounting signed a 300 s/f expansion at 200 13th Ave. Tsiolis represented Long Island Industrial, Level Solar and Dovecote Accounting.
"The expansion of our existing tenants shows our commitment to offering quality industrial space. These leases showcase the diversity of companies that are drawn to the Long Island industrial market," said Tsiolis. "Companies choosing this area are realizing the competitive advantage that Equi-Park's location provides."
Comprised of eight buildings totaling 661,000 s/f, Equi-Park is a prime industrial park offering a combination of office, R&D and industrial space. Located on a 50-acre stretch in Suffolk County, the property is conveniently located near the Long Island Expressway and MacArthur Airport, as well as multiple transportation routes.
