ACEC New York inducts new officers and directors for 2015-16

The American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York) inducted a new slate of officers and directors at the association's Annual Meeting on June 10th at the Union League Club. All officers' and directors' terms began on July 1st. Charles Gozdziewski, P.E., principal at Hardesty & Hanover, is the new chairman. outgoing chair Joseph Amato, P.E., senior partner of Cameron Engineering & Associates, LLP, is now the national director of ACEC New York, serving as liaison between ACEC New York and the ACEC national organization in Washington, D.C. Hardesty & Hanover is headquartered in New York City. Gozdziewski's responsibilities there have included overseeing transportation planning, construction inspection and support services for highways; bridges; and special structures. He has also performed quality control/quality assurance on many major projects. He has been involved in the design, inspection, evaluation and rehabilitation of hundreds of movable, fixed and railroad bridges in the United States, particularly in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area.
