According to Warburg Realty, Susan Fishman has joined the firm's growing Upper West Side office at 451 Columbus Ave. With a decade of industry experience, Fishman is widely recognized for her presence and success in Manhattan's Upper West Side.
"Fishman possesses all the qualities we look for in a Warburg agent," said Frederick Peters, president of Warburg Realty. "She is smart, honorable, experienced, and client focused. We are thrilled to add her to our team."
With sales totaling over $100 million, Fishman most recently marketed a five-building conversion project in Gramercy and the Upper East Side. This portfolio is yet another addition to her list of new development sales of both condominium and co-op conversions that she has managed. Fishman's background in start-ups and corporate business development has led to a successful career representing a wide array of buyers, sellers, investors and developers.
"This move comes at a pivotal stage in my career, and at a very exciting time for Warburg," said Fishman. "As a long-time resident of the Upper West Side, I couldn't be more delighted to join the Columbus Avenue flagship as both the office and the brokerage continue to expand."
Fishman is a Washington D.C. native and graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Her early career ambitions brought her to Capitol Hill at the height of the dot.com boom, where she worked with the Washington Post Company managing contracts for Fortune 500 companies. In 2001, after creating an online presence for another dot.com firm, Fishman was recruited by Citigroup and moved to New York to lead the digital launch of their women's financial services division.
