Robert Ceretti, AIA, LEED AP, has joined TPG Architecture's retail studio. He brings over 20 years of retail planning, design, and project management expertise to the firm. Prior to joining TPG, he was the founding principal of R. CERETTI + associates, working with Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as European fashion retailers to bring their branded environments to the U.S. He counts Cartier, Chloe, Lancel, Loro Piana, Prada and ZARA among his clientele. Ceretti and his team have overseen the construction of 10 million s/f of retail space, including department stores and shopping centers in Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul and Kazakhstan.
His projects have received numerous awards from VMSD, Chain Store Age, and A.R.E., and his firm had consistently placed on VMSD's Top 50 Retail Design Firms list. He is a registered architect, member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional. A long-time Retail Design Institute member, past chairman and Fellow, he recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his efforts on behalf of the Institute.
He supports education as an adjunct professor, teaching Sustainable Design at LIM College, and serves as a mentor to students at Pratt Institute and FIT, and members of LMNOP and IIDA.
