Gary Jacobs is the fourth generation owner of F&F Supply, a 73 year old building supply company located in Hunts Point. Since joining F&F Supply in 1992, the company has undergone rapid growth resulting in a relocation of its headquarters to 1260 Oak Point Ave. in March, 2014. Jacobs grew up in New Rochelle, N.Y and graduated from the SI Newhouse School at Syracuse University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising. Following graduation, Jacobs worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble, Clairol and Carter -Wallace. In 1992, Jacobs joined F&F Supply as the fourth generation owner of the company. Jacobs walks in the footsteps of three earlier generations of family - his great-grandfather, Benjamin Friedman, his grandparents Paul and Helen Fein, his uncle Sidney Fein, and his parents Rita and Robert Jacobs. Hardware has been in the Fein/Jacobs family blood as the family owned a hardware store in Poland prior to World War II. Jacobs is active in his synagogue in Port Chester, New York and has become involved with Ice Hockey in Harlem and Project to Cure charities.
