Consolo and Aquino of Douglas Elliman chosen to market retail space at 1258 Third Avenue

The national leasing and sales team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group have been named exclusive agents for 1258 Third Ave., a 1,072 s/f space with 25 ft. of frontage and an 894 s/f basement. Located between East 72nd and 73rd Sts., on the west side of an avenue considered to be one of Manhattan's premier centers for ladies' fashion, children's clothing and fine restaurants, the vacant store is within one block of Olive and Bette's, Otte, Anthropologie, Marimekko, Talbots, Scoop NYC and Gracious Home, New York's revered home goods-and-housewares emporium. In addition, it is in the same building as Jacadi children's clothing, Journelle fine lingerie, and Leonard Opticians. "This is the heart and soul of the Upper East Side," said Consolo. "The retail corridor is extremely stable and skews to the higher end, commensurate with the residential profile of the neighborhood." Aquino said, "The shopping activity on Third Ave. in the East 70s is consistently strong with young professionals and families." The previous tenant in the space was InVite Health
