The New York CPEX retail leasing team has completed a lease agreement at 747 Franklin Ave. with Brooklyn Winery, a boutique urban winery. Located in Crown Heights, by the corner of Franklin Ave. and Sterling Place, the three-story mixed-use property offers 1,425 s/f of ground floor retail space with an identically sized basement. Brooklyn Winery is expanding from their original location on North 8th St. and Driggs Ave. in Williamsburg. CPEX's retail leasing team, consisting of managing director Ryan Condren and associate directors Kristina Triglia and George Danut, represented the landlord. "After considering several spaces in already established neighborhoods, Brooklyn Winery decided upon this storefront on Franklin Ave.," said Condren. "It is a testament to the emerging market in Crown Heights, especially along Franklin Ave., that Brooklyn Winery would elect to open another location here. The neighborhood's young demographic, with an energy similar to Williamsburg, will continue to draw new and exciting retailers to the area."
