Vertigo Media Group and Infusion Direct Marketing join forces

Vertigo Media Group, an award winning full-service marketing and branding firm, and Infusion Direct Marketing, a public relations firm specializing in the security industry, have teamed up in order to "transform Long Island's tired marketing culture." "We've taken crucial elements from the New York City agency model and adapted them for the Long Island market," says Lisa Mirabile, President and CEO of Vertigo Media Group. "Like many Manhattan and Brooklyn-based agencies, the Vertigo team is now comprised of specialists in key areas like direct marketing, creative, digital, content strategy and lead generation services. Each and every member of our team has their own unique talent and special focus." Last year, Vertigo enhanced its traditional offerings by acquiring the book of business from the Bohemia-based agency Digital Motion Web, adding a new suite of digital services to the agency's portfolio that includes search engine optimization and behavioral retargeting, among others. At the same time, the company expanded into new markets including healthcare, food service, hospitality and automotive. "Infusion was the missing piece of this consolidation process," says Mirabile. "They bring to the table their expertise & knowledge of the security industry, while having PR connections that can't be matched." Together, the two agencies hope to pave the way for a more agile agency model that brings faster, smarter results to Long Island brands. In addition, both companies will be looking to expand outside of the Long Island region and work with clients throughout the U.S. "We want to infuse the island's stale marketing culture with a forward-thinking, results-oriented philosophy," says Mirabile. The key, adds Monique Merhige, President of Infusion Direct, is having the right talent and processes in place.
