Efraimov and Palmese of Cushman & Wakefield broker $1.8 million sale; For 22,479 s/f mixed-use building located in Hempstead

A mixed-use building at 82-84 Main St., located on the corner of Main St. and Nichols Court, was sold in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.8 million. The three-story building contains 22,479 s/f and consists of five retail spaces on the ground floor and 13 office suites on the second and third floors. It features 59' of frontage on Main St. and 132' of frontage on Nichols Court. The property is located on Main St., across the street from the Nassau county District Court and three blocks from the Hempstead LIRR station. The sale price equates to $80 per s/f. "The village's revitalization plan, slated to begin this spring, will bring hundreds of new residential units and 28,000 s/f of retail to the area. This planned redevelopment will promote growth and it has brought increased interest to the area," said Cushman & Wakefield's Benjamin Efraimov, who exclusively handled this transaction with Stephen Palmese.
