Tsiolis of Long Island Industrial brokers 38,500 s/f storage space lease; O'Connor of NGKF represents United Baking Co.

Long Island Industrial, which owns and operates a mixed portfolio of commercial properties across Long Island, has completed a new lease with United Baking Co., which will occupy 38,500 s/f of storage space at 95 Horse Block Rd. United Baking Co., the manufacturing and parent corporation of Shirley, New York-based baked goods company Uncle Wally's, was founded by Wally "Famous" Amos. United Baking Co. will use the location at 95 Horse Block Rd. for distribution and storage of its products, which include a wide range of muffins.
Tommy Tsiolis, director of leasing for Long Island Industrial, represented his company in-house, while Jack O'Connor of Newmark Knight Grubb Frank represented United Baking Co.
"Our long-term relationship with United Baking Co. was a key factor that drew the company to us for storage space, and we were able to identify the best property for their current business needs," said Tsiolis. "We look forward to continuing to serve United Baking Co. and will ensure that the highest level of service is delivered."
A prime Eastern Suffolk County location, 95 Horse Block Rd. is positioned near the Long Island Expressway, Sunrise Hwy. and multiple transportation routes. The 181,000 s/f building features a distribution warehouse and office showroom.
In addition to this space, Uncle Wally's has two production facilities in Long Island totaling 100,000 s/f. The company has become a valued baking partner to some of the most well regarded companies in the food and retail business, including General Mills, Walmart and many others. The Uncle Wally's brand and other strategic private label muffins baked by United Baking Co. are available nationally in more than 10,000 stores.
