Bag-all, an environmentally friendly gift bag company that offers reusable cotton bags for gift wrap, organization and travel, has opened its first brick-and-mortar store at 219 Mott St. after operating for the past year as an on-line company. The 500 s/f space opened in December 2014.
The transaction was handled by Corcoran's David Graff, who represented Bag-all, and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's Jay Luchs and Jessica Farrow, who represented Magnum Realty Group, the landlord.
Located on Mott St. between Prince and Spring Sts., sharing a block with clothing boutiques and salons, and down the corner from New York icons like Lombardi's Pizza, the space was previously occupied by boutique clothing store Kathryn Amberleigh.
"219 Mott St. is situated in the center of one of Manhattan's most popular shopping districts, and Bag-all is the perfect addition; now all of those shoppers were able to get all of their shopping done in the same neighborhood, including their gift wrapping, in time for the holidays," said Graff.
Bag-all was founded by Jennifer Jansch in 2013 as an alternative to using traditional giftwrap.
The 100% cotton bags, designed to be reused numerous times for gifts, organization and travel, are available in 15 different countries as well as from their website, Bag-all.com.
