According to Neil Dolgin and Kalmon Dolgin, co-presidents of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, Inc. (KDA), the firm has arranged a12,000 s/f lease at 54-01 35th St. in Long Island City for General Plumbing Corp., in its relocation from Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.
General Plumbing Corp. is a 24-hour plumbing, heating and fire protection company that offers repair, replacement and maintenance service for some of New York's biggest real estate owners and management firms. "The company offers 'round the clock service, as situations requiring their services don't always happen during regular business hours. The 24-hour operational schedule is a specialty niche that has been experiencing much growth as of late," said Neil Dolgin.
"The company needed to relocate from its location in Williamsburg and wanted to stay within close proximity to Manhattan to service its clients," said Jeff Unger of KDA, who represented both the landlord ROM Realty, and the tenant. "54-01 35th St.'s ideal location adjacent to the Long Island Expressway, Queens Midtown Tunnel, and 59th St. and Williamsburg bridges was the perfect fit."
The property also offers off-street parking for its employees and service vehicles.
