Adams & Co. Real Estate, LLC, one of Manhattan's premier full-service real estate firms specializing in property management, brokerage and consulting services, brokered a 16,252 s/f deal at 40 Wall St. for Magna.
Jeff Buslik and Seth Godnick of Adams represented the tenant in the transaction. Jeff Lichtenberg, Frank Cento and Scott Silverstein of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, Trump Organization.
Magna will be leasing 8,126 s/f on both the 57th and 58th floor, totaling 16,252 s/f, for a 12-year term; asking price for the space was $48 per s/f. Magna plans to use this space for their New York City headquarters.
"40 Wall St. is a world renowned office building located in the heart of the Financial District by the NY Stock Exchange," said Buslik. "The building provides Magna with an ideal location for its team, meeting the needs of their growing company."
Magna is a New York based investment firm that creates lasting relationships with portfolio companies across Equities, Ventures and Entertainment.
Regarded for the breadth of its investment approach, the firm recently completed a $6 million investment into innovative biotechnology company Amedica Corporation (Nasdaq: AMDA) and a $3 million investment into PledgeMusic, a rapidly growing digital platform to empower musicians through direct fan engagement.
Additionally, Magna's first wholly self-financed feature film, "Bleed For This," entered production in November 2014. The story of world-champion boxer Vinny Paz is written and directed by Ben Younger, executive produced by Martin Scorsese, and stars Miles Teller, Aaron Eckhart, and Ciaran Hinds.
